Dare to Dream attendant services provides nursing and personal care to the entire San Francisco bay area. We have a strong belief in safe, quality home care with an emphasis on consumer choice and independent living. We serve children, adults and seniors with disabilities. Golden Gate Regional Center clients who would like our services should contact your case manager and ask for personal assistant services. Please ask directly for Dare to Dream Attendant Services. Our staff are qualified, compassionate individuals. They go through a rigorous background and fingerprinting by the Department of Justice. My staff have to undergo a physical exam, get immunizations and CPR/First Aid certification. Our nurse oversees all of our nursing care and all nurses must have licensing and certifications required  by the state of California.

There is a growing need for home care services in the Bay Area. The need is based around youth, adults, and seniors with disabilities who need care and prefer to live in their homes verses in an assisted living or long-term care facility. Dare to Dream Attendant Services is set up to enhance the lives of people with disabilities by providing in home care, coordination services, as well as Independent Living skills classes and disability awareness training.

The scope of our services will include the following areas:

Transfers
Hygiene (bathing, grooming, etc.)
Toileting (no invasive procedures except with a nurse visit)
Feeding
Meal Preparation /Clean-up
Non-personal Care (laundry, shopping, house cleaning, pet care)
Morning/Evening Routines
Mobility Assistance (doctor's appointments, etc) public transportation only
Reminder Services (medication (no injections without nurse), appointments, etc.)
Repositioning
Supervision
Service Coordination
Independent Living Skills


Live in care: Dare to Dream Attendant Services provides live-in care for people with disabilities and seniors. Please call our office for more information.

Getting Out There. This is a program for seniors where they will have daily outside and inside acctivities. This is designed so that seniors and thier community can get to know each other. The Cost:  $400
 

Bingo Night. Designed for young and old.  Everyone can play bingo. If you could not make it to the location we'll hook you up over the telephone.
Thursday Nights. 6:00 to 9:30 PM. $10 per person
 

Everybody Dance Now. This program is done through music and dance. People will have the opportunity to hear great tunes and have a good time. You can dance and sing or simply hangout with friends. $5 No Alcohol but beverages will be provided.
 

General Disabliity Peer Support Group:  This is a group designed for people coping with day to day issues around disability. This is a FREE and SAFE place to get togather and support one another. An interview will be required before you are told the time and location of the group.
 

Ness Ness Va Art Class:  Long time staff member and artist Vanessa Castro will work with children, adults and seniors to do different forms of art. This will include drawing, painting, paper mache, clay, string art and much more.  Vanessa is a wonderful artist and writer. Her website is www.vanessa-castro.com           
$25 per person per hour class.
 

 
All of the above classes will be held in groups. No less than 3 people per group.
